Naousa is a village on the north shore of Paros, Greece, built amphitheatrically around a small picturesque port, during the Byzantine era. It was fortified by a wall that led to a Venetian fortress (Kastelli), a big part of which is still preserved.
Naousa boasts unique Cycladic architecture which fits refreshingly into a stunning natural setting. A glowing landscape of white-washed cubic houses scattered on the hills leaning against each other, with their colourful balconies hanging over the narrow stone-paved streets. An architecture of simple and minimal aesthetics yet a style that reveals strength and clarity, providing a sophisticated modernity.
Naousa radiates an unparalleled harmony, effortlessly combining its traditional character and authenticity with a cosmopolitan flair.
